Job Description

The Reservations Manager is directly responsible for managing both the Reservation department and for the administrative functions within the department. Responsibilities include managing the sales of corporate products and services in the reservations department through the achievement of sales targets. The Reservations Manager must ensure the functions of the department are being maintained and the highest level of customer service is being provided for our clientele. Ensure communications via primary sources of customer contact, telephone and correspondence are managed professionally, customer requests and needs are recognized, and expectations are exceeded whenever possible. Provide timely reporting of bookings and collections at regular intervals to provide accurate updates to management, helicopter carrier and guiding departments. Team actions, in conjunction with company management initiatives, are critical to ensure the maximization of revenue potential.

 

The Reservations Manager will develop ongoing, profitable relationships with guests and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role. It is very important to represent the company’s corporate image in an exemplary manner demonstrating superior customer service. As a Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing Representative, his/her role will exemplify our brand image as an ambassador, and will provide positive brand experiences to all customers.

 

 

 
Required Skills

·         University degree or College Diploma in an appropriate field preferred.

·         5 years of direct work experience in a supervisory capacity.

·         3 to 5 years experience in the hospitality industry specifically with customer service orientation and sales and reservations experience.

·         Experience in all aspects of customer service and people management.

·         Ski industry knowledge.

·         Demonstrated ability to lead and direct a team.

·         Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, methods, practices, and techniques.

·         Ability to supervise employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.

·         Ability to examine and re-engineer reservations operations, assist the General Manager and HR to create new policies, and develop and implement new strategies.

·         Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions.

NBS SNOW SPORTS SCHOOL FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR

Do
you have experience working in a snow sports school environment? Love the faced
paced action of a busy snow sports school? Have a high attention to detail?
Then NBS may have the role for you!

We
are looking for a responsible individual that shows exceptional customer
service skills, is capable and confident in dealing with confrontational
customers, and is extremely well organized and competent with computers. Must
have experience supervising staff in an office environment. You are required to
pay very close attention to detail in all aspects of your work and must be able
to work unsupervised at times. It would be extremely beneficial if the
individual had previous snowsports school knowledge/experience but this is not
a pre-requisite.
