Beaver Creek Resort Jobs, Employment & Info

» Colorado, United States

Beaver Creek Resort is a major U.S. ski resort near Avon, Colorado, run by Vail Resorts. The resort is comprised of three villages, the main Beaver Creek Village, Bachelor Gulch, and Arrowhead to the west. It is the sister resort of Vail, Colorado. Beaver Creek is a regular host of Alpine skiing World Cup events. The resort is known for its upscale family-oriented accommodations and great terrain. The town hires extensively from the East Coast, Australia, South America, and Argentina to fill its large seasonal employee rosters. Vail Resorts (formerly Vail Associates) is the corporation that owns Beaver Creek mountain, as well as Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly, and Vail Mountain.

Beaver Creek recorded its snowiest season in history this past winter, with 430 inches of snow providing an unforgettable experience for skiers and snowboarders. Guests can again expect a good quality snow surface when the Winter 08-09 season kicks off on November 26, thanks to one of the most extensive resort snowmaking systems in the nation. New, automated snowmaking will be added to key areas and energy efficient towers will be installed to reduce the amount of compressed air needed for operation. The work is part of a five-year snowmaking automation and upgrade plan that began last year.

Expect to be pampered during a visit to Beaver Creek. Beaver Creek Resort has won the highly coveted Best Customer Service award from the National Ski Areas Association for the past three years. Embracing the resort’s “Not Exactly Roughing It” tagline, more than 150 mountain hosts are committed to providing the highest level of guest service in the ski industry. Look for hosts to maximize your enjoyment on the mountain and in the village by greeting you, helping to carry equipment, providing grooming reports and local’s tips, and leading free mountain welcome tours each day. At the end of the day, reward yourself with a fresh chocolate chip cookie served daily by Cookie Time chefs, and tell your friends about your amazing day on the slopes—we’ll mail a Beaver Creek collector postcard anywhere in the world, free of charge.
