Beaver Creek Resort is a major U.S. ski resort near Avon, Colorado, run by Vail Resorts. The resort is comprised of three villages, the main Beaver Creek Village, Bachelor Gulch, and Arrowhead to the west. It is the sister resort of Vail, Colorado. Beaver Creek recorded its snowiest season in history this past winter, with 430 inches of snow providing an unforgettable experience for skiers and snowboarders. New, automated snowmaking will be added to key areas and energy efficient towers will be installed to reduce the amount of compressed air needed for operation. The work is part of a five-year snowmaking automation and upgrade plan that began last year.
