Job Description

NBS SNOW SPORTS SCHOOL FRONT DESK
STAFF

“Come ride with us”...Want to
share your passion of skiing and riding with others?? Then come and join the
Niseko Base Snowsports Front Desk and Customer Service team and work in one of
the best powder Resorts in the world.

NBS Front desk is the forefront of our entire
operation acting as a customer service and reservation agent to all guests
whether they are purchasing outerwear from the retail shop, renting skis from
our rental shop or booking a lesson with one of our qualified instructors. You will also be responsible for
processing payments,
liaising with instructors, handling email enquiries/bookings, answering
telephones and introducing guests to their instructors on the meeting areas.

Previous
experience, attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills are a
must for this key position.

We are on the lookout for
both short term and full season Front Desk staff. If you're on Uni Holidays or

POSITION

Front Desk Consultant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Meeting/Greeting Guests at
NBS front desk

· “In resort” rental and
snowsports school reservations

· Online guest reservations and
emailing (from initial contact with guest, logging bookings, invoicing, taking
payment, pre-arrival assistance, introduction to rental staff/instructors upon
arrival in resort, guest assistance while in resort and follow up after the
guest has departed)

· Answering the phone and
assisting all resort guests that call

· Dealing with guest complaints
and misunderstandings

· Handling cash, taking
payments, processing credit cards

· Scheduling snowsports
instructors on lessons

· Assisting with lesson meeting
areas and splits

· Providing guests with key
local information and assistance

· Promoting all NBS and
SkiJapan.com Services

· NBS office presentation
maintenance and snow clearing

 
Required Skills

PREFERRED/ REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/
TRAINING

· Front
Desk/Reservations/Customer Service Experience required

· Office/
Administration experience

· Experience working with a
Snowsports School is preferred

· Personal
customer service experience (Face to Face)

· Travel/
tourism experience

· Cash/ Credit
Card Processing/ Handling

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

· English
is a MUST

· Japanese/
Chinese/ English bilingual applicants are preferred, but not essential.

SKI/ SNOWBOARD ABILITY:

No
previous ski/ snowboard ability is required, however some experience is
preferred.
