There are a number of ways to find a job on the site.
- You can browse the map to look for jobs graphically, based on their location.
- You can browse the locations with the resort finder to see what jobs are available in any given location. At the top of each resort page is an indicator telling how many jobs are available in that area.
- Finally, simply click on “search jobs” in the top menu bar and you will be able to browse the latest jobs or do an advanced search with the search tool on the right.
In order to apply for a job, first you need
to register and then create a resume. To register, click the
"login/register" button in the top right hand corner of the home page.
Then click "create a new account" from the tabs and fill in the
required information. Accept the terms and conditions and then click
"create new account".
Once you have registered, you will need to create a resume. To do
this, log in using your username and password. This will automatically
take you to your "my account" page. This is the main page from which
you can create resumes, apply for jobs and edit your profile and
photos. To create a resume, simply click on "create a new resume" and
fill out the resume form. Once you click submit, you will have a
resume on our system that you can use to apply for any number of jobs.
Now that you have a resume, simply search for a job you like. When you
find one, click "apply" and follow the instructions.
Yes we certainly can. Jobs come and go on the site quite quickly, so to make sure you are on the ball, you can sign up to get the latest jobs you are interested in sent straight to you. Using an RSS feed, you can be updated the moment a new job matching your criteria gets posted. Don’t know about RSS feeds? Just read below, they are easy to set up and because they aren’t e-mail, you can’t get bugged by spam or other malicious software.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an easy way to browse content from many different websites in one place. It is a way to have information sent to you rather than looking for it. This information can come from many sources including, News Sites, Blogs, and various online services. This information is contained in a "feed" or list of headlines which you can subscribe to. Giving you control over the content that you want to see. To view these feeds you will need an RSS reader or "aggregator". There are many aggregators on the internet and chances are your browser has one built in using it's bookmarks feature.
GET UP TO DATE JOB FEEDS ON SNOWWORKERS
Run an advanced job or resume search specifying the type of job you are looking for or the location you would like to work, or both. Click on the RSS feed icon in the results page and depending on your browser you will recieve a list of jobs matching your search results. If your search results are empty do not worry, the feed will save your search parameters and when new jobs are added that match your requirements your feed will automatically be updated. From this page you can save your feed by adding it to your browsers bookmarks or by copying the url into your favorite RSS reader. Your feed will automatically be updated everytime you open it.
